ABOUT US

Pole Dance Cape Town opened in its doors in 2010 being the first of its kind in Cape Town. Since then, the studio together with the sport has grown. In 2017, the studio was taken over by Chantal Nell, aerial artist and former Cirque du Soleil performer.  In 2020, after 10 years in Loop Street, Pole Dance Cape Town relocated to suburb of Edgemead.

Our main focus is fitness training, self-confidence and strength training through the art of pole. We cater for men and woman of all shapes and sizes with any fitness levels. Most students feel timid and shy when they enter the studio for their first class but after a few lessons, they start to feel stronger and more confident. We offer classes in a safe, secure and supportive environment.

It is not difficult to see why pole fitness is fast becoming one of the most popular forms of exercise. It is a great way to lose weight, and to improve flexibility and co-ordination. It targets abs, shoulders, arms, and back and helps build lean muscle. Not to mention it’s way more fun than going to the gym!

Whether you are interested in joining the incredible pole and aerial community for fun and fitness or stepping into the world of competing, Pole Dance Cape Town has a great family and we would love for you to join us.

WHAT STUDENTS SAY:

Best workout for any gender! A unique balance of strength, flexibility, balance and pure fun! I leave every class feeling like I achieved something! Thank you to all the amazing instructors and PDCT for bringing such great people together!.”

– Kelly-Ann Chateau-Marthinus

“Chantal is an excellent instructor with a vast amount of knowledge in the fitness and health fields. Her hands-on spotting technique makes you feel safe and confident while mastering new skills. Her energetic and spunky personality is incredibly inviting and brings light and only positive vibes to her beautiful studio. The studio has every different kind of pole you could possibly imagine, want, or need: brass, chrome, powder coated… you name it! I can’t wait to visit CPT again and take another class! Cheers!”

– Natalie Rhae

“Anita and Chantal are great teachers. They are both very knowledgeable and classes were always conducted in a way that allowed beginners to understand and perform pole moves. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time attending classes and would recommend Pole Dance Cape Town to anyone who is interested in pole dancing.”
